Literary fiction is a genre of literature that focuses on the artistic and aesthetic qualities of writing. It is characterized by its exploration of complex and thought-provoking themes, as well as its emphasis on character development and rich language. Unlike other genres, literary fiction does not conform to a specific formula or plot structure, allowing for a wide range of narrative styles and techniques. Often, these works challenge readers to think critically about the world and human experience, making it a genre that is both entertaining and intellectually stimulating. Popular examples of literary fiction include works by authors such as J.D. Salinger, Toni Morrison, and George Orwell.
