Kate Quinn delivers another thrilling historical novel with The Huntress, a slow-burning but gripping tale of revenge, survival, and justice.

The story follows Ian, a former war reporter turned Nazi hunter, and Nina, a fearless ex-member of the Night Witches, the Soviet Union’s all-female bomber regiment. Both are on the hunt for The Huntress, a deadly Nazi war criminal who vanished after the war.

Meanwhile, in Boston, 17-year-old Jordan starts questioning her widowed father’s new fiancée, a German woman with a shadowy past. As their stories intertwine, the tension builds toward a satisfying, high-stakes conclusion.

While the pacing is slow at times, the historical details and the Night Witches subplot make this a fascinating read. If you enjoy WWII historical fiction with strong female leads and a touch of mystery, The Huntress is worth your time.
